In this unit, students will study the complex relationship that exists in the nature of animals and the environment. Students will investigate how we depend on each other for food in the life cycle. Students will study ecosystems. They will understand that organisms perform a variety of roles in an ecosystem; and that all of the processes that take place within organisms require energy.
