Homework
Students homework is usually comprised of three elements: Nightly Writing, Reading and Math. Be sure to check your child's agenda / remind on a nightly basis for any changes, but normally the schedule will be as follows:
- For Reading students are expected to read 20 min on a daily basis. This reading will always need to be documented in order to receive credit. Reading logs or reading organizers will be sent home at the beginning of the week; and need to be completed then signed by a parent / guardian.
- For Math students will be completing the math worksheet that corresponds to that day's lesson. If we do not finish a whole lesson or if we are preparing for a test there may be no math homework that night.
Tests
- Chapter and unit tests are announced in advance. A study guide will be provided for most tests. Upcoming tests will be noted in students' agendas.
- Students are able to correct any assignment that receives a grade below a 70%. Corrections must be completed within one week of the test's return and must be accompanied by a parent signature.
Classroom Expectations

1. Be Respectful- Treat everyone and everything the way they should be treated.
2. Be Responsible- Always do the right thing, even when you don't feel like it.
3. Be Safe- Never do anything that could hurt you or someone else.
